We are excited to announce the merger between WCI MEDIA STUDIOS and RALLY CREATIVE. This new collective gives rise to a unique and innovative creative services agency, showcasing a diverse team of designers, 3D rendering artists, programmers, project managers and industry-proven consultants. We have aligned to increase our synergy, and yours.

As you have now seen – there have been a few developments that have come into play here in our Rally Creative world. Over the past 8 months we have been in discussions with one of our strategic partner agencies that we work in close tandem with – and I am pleased to announce that as of December 21st, 2020, RALLY CREATIVE will be merging with WCI MEDIA STUDIOS.

We are looking forward to the opportunities that this will provide both companies given our existing working relationship we already have in place, as our skill sets are very complementary to one another. The transition is admittedly happening very quickly, and the Rally team will be officially moving into the WCI offices Monday December 21st, and we will be working out of a combined studio space. It’s without saying, I am very excited to introduce our clients and suppliers to the management and team of the new WCI  RALLY COLLABORATIVE. In an effort to communicate what this looks like moving forward – I have outlined a few key points below.

In discussions over the past months – Jeremy, Tanner and I have thrown out a lot of ideas around how we wanted to brand and position ourselves given that both companies have a long track record independent of each other. We felt that maintaining our collective names in our new identity was core to ensure that both companies are represented respectively moving forward. To underscore the ‘COLLABORATIVE’ speaks to the strong combination and merging of talents that have now aligned under our new banner. It rings true.

The team at Rally have worked together with the WCI team for years in various capacities. We actually share many of the same clients. Between the two companies we have unique sets of core competencies and areas of expertise. The idea of merging our talents just made sense in creating an overall stronger service offering to our combined clients. What we now bring to our current client base is the ability to also provide additional 3D rendering and animation services with the ability to offer creative direction in-house. In tandem – WCI has provided our clients with hardware tech and installation (ie interactive touchscreens / video walls) as well as in-house web programming / interactive programming which strengthens our current competencies with respect to our creative in this realm. The addition of our new expanded scope of services and team in the new WCI  RALLY COLLABORATIVE simply strengthens what Rally has been able to provide to date – and brings even more to the table than what we have been able to provide in the past.

WCI is a studio located in Abbotsford specializing in 3D architectural rendering & animation, in addition to web and interactive programming, touchscreen and video hardware procurement, and interior design.

Our current team will all be moving over to join up with the WCI team. In total we will now be a collective crew of 16 strong – with plans to be expanded over the coming months to serve you better.

While I know that our clients (and us) will miss our current studio space, we will be consolidating and moving into the current WCI Studio in the Mill Tower in Abbotsford – literally just 2 minutes from our current studio location. The view from the new studio is pretty spectacular! I’m looking forward to having you come up into the tower to see for yourself!

I will be carrying forward with my current role as Creative Director. While my objectives remain the same as they have been for 34 years, and that is to provide and ensure that our client’s projects maintain brand integrity and presence, I will also be directing our team as part of the overall WCI  RALLY COLLABORATIVE leadership, and I will be committed to growing this new COLLABORATIVE into an even bigger powerhouse studio.

For those of you who have current projects with Rally – these will continue to move forward seamlessly. You will have the same creative direction from me, project management, designers and production artists working on your projects and delivering the same (if not better) work that you have come to know and identify us for.

It’s all good across the board! This merger means that you will be getting so much more from our collective team in providing you with a more expanded full-service offering, and in alignment with what you have received from Rally Creative for the past 34 years.

As of Monday December 21, our team has moved to the WCI offices! Any couriers / mail / etc, should be sent to the new office address listed below. All of our current Rally phone numbers will still go through to our new offices, and while we will all be sporting new emails addresses, our old email will continue to forward through as well.

This is an exciting new chapter in the long history of Rally, and I am happy to connect with any of you around the specifics of the newly formed collaborative with WCI, and any questions that you may have. I’m looking forward to sharing the next chapter in our story. We have aligned to increase our synergy, and yours.

The time, effort and level of detail that go into creating a unique and customized sales centre experience is extensive and something our team at Rally Creative takes very seriously. We’re honoured to see that two of the sales centres we developed in 2019 have become finalists for the 28th Annual Georgie Awards, and want to offer our congratulations to the Panatch Group and Macdonald Development Corporation.

50 Electronic Avenue, Port Moody
Developer: Panatch Group | Sales & Marketing: Hestia Marketing
50 Electronic Avenue, located in Port Moody is a 358 condominium development located at the former home of a black and white television factory. This historic site, gave Rally a unique branding opportunity that was rolled into a one-of-a-kind stick framed sales centre. The prominently positioned 3,000 sq ft sales centre gave us plenty of space and vantage points to work with. The striking sales centre truly reflected the attention to detail of the entire project and spoke to the developers commitment to quality.

Learn more about this project.

In addition to being nominated for its Sales Centre, the 50 Electronic Avenue project was also a finalist for the Best Advertising Campaign that Rally had the opportunity to develop the creative for.

Lakestone, Lake Country Kelowna
Developer: Macdonald Development Corporation
Lakestone, located in the heart of the Okanagans Lake Country, is 550 acre masterplanned community that offers architecturally striking single family homes combined with breathtaking scenery, a wealth of amenities and endless opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Macdonald engaged the team at Rally to create a new sales centre in their latest phase within the second amenity building built at Lakestone. A combination of large scale custom millwork panels were integrated around the structural columns within the space to provide real estate for storytelling,  in tandem with minimizing the presence of these within the space.

Learn more about this project.

The Georgie Awards are held annually by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC. The Gala is attended by over 600 industry professionals, representing the best in BC real estate. This year’s Gala will be held on March 14, 2020 and we can’t wait to see how these projects do!

Congratulations again to these developers and for putting faith in the team at Rally to showcase their developments and tell their story.

a life changing investment

Over the last year, Rally’s 2018 well contribution has helped bring fresh drinking water to the small village of Meta Atsella in Ethiopia. Not only has this positively impacted the village, but it’s changed the lives of the girls who used to walk 9 km daily to collect contaminated water for their families. With the addition of accessible clean drinking water, girls are now able to spend more time obtaining an education.

While accessible, clean drinking water shows some improvement to high school enrollment, this year, Rally wanted to take an Ethiopian girl’s opportunity to get an education even further. A startling 80% of girls in Ethiopian villages never make it past grade seven. While a number of factors impact this, one of the most significant is proximity to high schools. As most small villages do not contain a high school, the daily walk can be nearly 3 hours each way through dangerous, isolated terrain – a risky scenario many Ethiopian parents won’t allow their daughters to endure for an education.

This Christmas, Rally has once again partnered with Run For Water who have developed the Give a Girl a Goat program. Through this program, the top 4 girls in Ethiopian villages are carefully selected to participate. Their family is given a single goat and provided with training on the raising and breeding of goats as a sustainable source of income. Simply put, this goat becomes the girls bank account, allowing a family to pay for their daughter to attend high school and acquire a university education.

The growth of a single goat is exponential with the potential to grow into a herd of 100 goats in just 4 years. By selling 5 goats a year, families are able to:

• Cover all school essentials, including fees, textbooks, uniforms
and food
• Rent housing near the school, for the girls from the village to share
• Obtain a tutor

Within in 3 years, the income generated by the herd will be enough to fund sending the girl’s sister to school and create a better life for the entire family.

In tandem with the girls that Run for Water currently has enrolled in this life changing program, this Christmas Rally will help bring that number to close to 300. While the focus of this program is education, the long-term impacts go beyond this. Educated girls:

• Will get married later, resulting in fewer women dying during childbirth
and having fewer children overall. This shift results in a decrease in
poverty and a 50% decrease in child and infant mortality.
• Learn more about the importance of health, sanitization and
immunization through education.
• Become agents of change within their community. They’re far more
likely to start businesses, open health clinics, build infrastructure and
foster advocacy.

We couldn’t think of a better way to invest in human potential – empowering change and nurturing the future teachers, doctors, engineers and leaders of tomorrow, who will create a brighter future for their communities.

‘tis the season to count our blessings. Your continued support makes it possible for us to make a difference in a really big way. Merry Christmas from all of us at Rally Creative. We wish you the very best as you savour time with loved ones over the holidays.
